The Tigray region Labor and Social Affairs Bureau announced that it has disbursed 42 mln birr for 102 thousand needy people.
Bureau Plan Preparation Expert Yirga Gebreyesus said over the last nine months, 55 thousand children, 17 thousand elders and 8,700 people with disabilities benefited from the support gained from various NGos.
He said that 57 thousand of the beneficiaries are women.
According to him, the Bureau is working to sustainably rehabilitate the life of people in addition to the support.
