Residents decry poor infrastructures at condominium site

Residents of Bole Bulbula condominium site in Addis Ababa decried of poor infrastructures, which have impeded their living conditions.

Residents told Walta TV that they were resettled after they vacated their previous village in the government’s development program in different corners of the city. According to them, though nine months passed since they moved there, so far they did not access to infrastructures.

Eshetu Take, a resident at the Bole Bulbula condominium site told Walta TV that the seven story building, where he lives in, has no elevator, electric lines, and water and sewage pipes.

Aletsehay Hunegnaw, another resident is of Eshetu’s view.

The other problem, the residents in common complained are, why the site failed to include communal service centers so that they could carry out their social responsibilities.

Responding to the complaints of residents, Housing Construction Coordinator deputy manager with Addis Ababa Housing Construction Project Office, Teklu Fikru said that his office is going to purchase elevators and will  solve all problems.
