President Sahle-Work Zewde today visited Muday Association, an Ethiopian based charity organization dedicated for the betterment of the disadvantaged section of the society.
During the visit, she encouraged the staff as well as children and women who were receiving assistance from the organization.
The President commended the association “for providing support for orphans and mothers in this difficult situation.”
The President added that “Muday Association is a good example that we Ethiopians could do a lot if we work together.”
Pledging to provide all the necessary support to the association, the President urged all Ethiopians to donate what they can to the organization.
Founded 19 years ago, the association currently provides assistance for 614 children and 450 mothers.
