The Addis Ababa City Mayor, Takele Umma called upon the residents of Addis Ababa to contribute their part in lifting the people living on streets.
According to the Mayor, more than 50 thousand people live on streets making the city to establish 6 rehabilitation centers.
The City allocated 100million birr for the very purpose, the Mayor said adding the need to work with regions to reduce number of street people.
The Addis Ababa city administration also launched trust fund help the street people improve their lives.
