Ethiopia is working to help returnees establish life

Ethiopia said that it is working to help citizens, who returned back home from countries they used to live in as refugee establish permanent life.  

 A national consultation is being carried out to discuss on ways of permanently establishing the life of returnees.  

Commissioner for Refugees and Returnees Affairs Agency, Eyob Awoke, Ethiopia is currently preparing a legal frame work on Ethiopia refugees.

He said that the Agency is working with concerned stakeholders to help returnees establish life along with offering training support.

European Union Representative, Sabria Bazamila also said that the union has allotted 15USD to this project.

The representative added that Ethiopia is a model in handling refugees in the world.
