AU Executive Council to Deliberate on Issues Continent Faces

The 31th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of AU which opens tomorrow will deliberate mainly on issues of peace, security, and migration.

At a press conference he held today, Commission Secretary General Mourad Ben Dhiab said the meeting will focus on issues of peace and security as well as migration the continent faces.

The issues of refugees, displacement in the continent as well as multi bilateral cooperation with partners are the other agendas of discussion, he added.

Furthermore, the Executive Council will discuss issues of infrastructure development, energy, tourism development in the continent and exchange views to improve them.

Besides, they will exchange views on how to work with Africa candidates to provide for them support to participate in international organizations during its two-day deliberations.(Walta)
