Final draft of Education Road Map will be tabled for discussion

The Ministry of Education announced that the final draft of the Education Road Map, which believed to fundamentally change the country’s “education and training practice”, will be up for discussion this month.

Minister of The Ministry of Education, Tilaye Gete (PhD) today presented the yearly report, in which preparation of the roadmap highlighted as a breakthrough.

He said that the final draft will be offered to the office of the Prime Minister, where final deliberation will be required.

According the Minister, the split into two of the Ministry, and the road map will help works done easily. 

The discussion the Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed had with 6500 teachers, the coming of 1363 women as school director, donation of 540 USD, the distribution of 32 million textbooks and the construction 300 schools, are according to him, tasks that are done over the year.

The displacement of students, being late from schedule of schooling and lack of fair access to education have been challenges the ministry reported.
