Addis Ababa, January 11, 2022 (Walta) – The Chinese Foreign Minister, Qin Gang, inaugurated the Africa Center for Disease Control Prevention(CDC) Headquarters Building Project (phase I) that constructed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The Chinese-aided Construction of Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention headquarters was started two years ago.
The headquarters, which is one of the best-equipped centres for disease control in Africa, is expected to boost Africa’s capacity to handle disease outbreaks such as Ebola and AIDS that have resulted in the deaths of thousands of people across the continent.
