Addis Ababa December 8, 2021 (Walta) – Ethiopia’s Ambassador to France Henok Tefera has discussed with French National Assembly, lower House of Parliament and members of the Ethiopia Friendship Group.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Amb. Henok is thankful to Virginie Duby-Muller for the opportunity to brief parliament members on current situation in Ethiopia.
TPLF started the conflict with the aim of destroying the Ethiopian State and is responsible for gross human rights violations in Amhara and Afar regions, he added.
The Government led by Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed, who is commanding Ethiopian forces, is defeating TPLF forces, is ensuring the preservation of Ethiopian State and is committed to the deepening of the democratization process in the country and the economic reform launched in 2018, it was noted.
