Addis Ababa, February 01, 2023 (Addis Ababa) – Ethiopian Ambassador to the United State of America, Seleshi Bekele, held an important discussion with US diplomats.
Ambassador Seleshi said he had fruitful discussion with Molly Phee, US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs on the implementation of the Pretoria Peace Agreement, socio-economic development and related challenges in Ethiopia.
Ambassador Seleshi also confers with Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Mike Hammer where the two spoke on the progress of negotiation on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).
On his Twitter account, Ambassador Seleshi wrote that, “I had useful and candid discussions with US Asst Secretary Amb Molly Phee on progresses of peace agreement and implementation, socio-economic development and remaining challenges in Ethiopia. Today, with Special Envoy Amb Mike Hammer on progress of negotiation on GERD”.
