Addis Ababa May 19, 2021(Walta) – On his working visit to South Eastern China’s Fujian Province, Consul General of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Guangzhou Ambassador Ewnetu B. Debela met and conferred with Guo Ningning, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Fujian Province.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the range of mutual interest issues and how to enhance the existing cooperation between Ethiopia and the Province.
They also shared ideas to encourage and support Fujian enterprises to invest in Ethiopia, strengthen trade exchanges, and jointly promote tourism resources and establish practical cities to cities friendly twinnings.
They further emphasized the importance of sharing experiences on poverty alleviation practices and future cooperation in technical know-how.
Other officials including Wang Tianming, Director- General of Foreign Affairs Office Fujian Provincial People’s Government, Zhang Zhijie, Deputy Secretary-General of Fujian Provincial People’s Government, and Huang Naen, Deputy Director-General of Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce also attended the meeting.
