Addis Ababa, August 19, 2021 (Walta) – The Deputy Head of Amhara Special Force (ASF) announced that areas occupied by the terrorist Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) have been retaken.
The Deputy Head of ASF, Commissioner Biset Gethaun, announced that areas occupied by the terrorist Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) have been retaken by Ethiopian National Defense Force, ASF and militia.
TPLF has been designated as Terrorist by the House of Peoples Representatives.
According to the commissioner, Gashena, Estayish, Ahun Tegegn, Hamusit and Arbit are in the hands of ENDF, ASF and militia.
The Amhara Media Corporation report citing the commissioner as source states that all the areas are located in the North Wollo Zone of the Amhara Regional States.
