Addis Ababa, December 20, 2022 (Walta) – Following the signing of peace deal between the Ethiopian government and TPLF, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia has resumed banking services in Shirie, Alamata and Korem.
The bank was forced to suspend its operation in the northern Ethiopia due to the conflict.
The bank stated that some of its branches in Alamata, Shirie and Korem began local and international money transfer, and savings services.
CBE is preparing to expand its full banking services in all the brances to satisfy its customers.
