Addis Ababa, March 26, 2022 (Walta) – Director-General of Department of African Affairs at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Wu Peng stated that China welcomes the humanitarian truce by the Ethiopian Government to ensure access for humanitarian aid to Tigray Region.
“We support relevant parties in realizing national reconciliation through dialogue”, he added.
The Director-General also stressed that China will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Ethiopia.
