Addis Ababa, December 1, 2021 (Walta) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, Demeke Mekonnen has discussed with Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi on current affairs and bilateral issues.
Demeke briefed Wang Yi about his government’s approach to resolving the conflict.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on his part said China believes the current situation in Ethiopia is a matter of its internal affairs.
He added that Ethiopia has the capacity and wisdom to resolve the issue on its own.
Demeke warmly welcomed the Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi upon his arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport earlier this morning.
