Addis Ababa December 7, 2021(Walta) – The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) said it set to investigate serious human rights violations in Amhara and Afar regions.
Commissioner Daniel Bekele (PhD) announced on his Twitter page that the commission had received complaints of serious human rights abuses made by TPLF militants in various parts of Amhara and Afar.
It is recalled that the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCR) have announced a joint study on human rights violations since the government decided the unilateral ceasefire until June 28, 2021.
