Addis Ababa, December 12, 2022 (Walta) – The Ethiopian Embassy in the UK in collaboration with Invest Africa Worldwide organized an Ethiopian Investment Seminar in London.
The Seminar brought together selected and dedicated entrepreneurs, business representatives, and industry leaders from various sectors such as construction, finance and banking, healthcare, and manufacturing as well as diplomatic communities and dignitaries.
Ethiopian Ambassador to the UK, Ambassador Teferi Melesse underlined that Ethiopia is strategically located in Eastern Africa and serves as a gateway to the continent as the seat of the African Union, which has 55 member countries, and the third diplomatic city after New York and Geneva, with over 100 diplomatic missions.
The Ambassador further called on UK businesses to seize the lucrative investment opportunities in Ethiopia, according to MoFA.
On the occasion, the Deputy Head of Mission, Beyene Gebremeskel presented a detailed account of the investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
Heads of companies and representatives of businesses also delivered speeches about their proposed investments in Ethiopia.
