Addis Ababa, December 15, 2021(Walta) – The government of Ethiopia announced that since the beginning of the law enforcement campaign, UN Human Rights Council has been exerting pressure on Ethiopia.
Government communication Service State Minister Kebede Desisa said the non-participation of any African countries would jeopardize the organization’s credibility when it convened a meeting on Ethiopian affairs in consultation with EU officials.
The UN Human Rights Council is working to weaken Africa’s ability to solve African problems with African solutions, said the state minister.
He also said that the fact that the UN Human Rights Council has not seen the massacre and other crimes committed by the TPLF in all the places where it has been carried out indicates that it has another political agenda.
