Addis Ababa, July 7, 2023 (Walta) Ethiopia and Poland signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on “Tax Solidarity Program”.
The Agreement was signed by the State Minister of the Ethiopian Ministry of Finance, Semereta Sewasew, and Przemysław Bobak, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Ethiopia,
The program will be implemented by the Centre for Tax Solidarity in the next three years as of the day of the signature, according to the Ministry of Finance.
The Tax Solidarity Program focus on the provision of training, organizing webinars and study visits to the officials from the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Revenue in the issues related to Value Added Tax (VAT) Administration and Reform, Digitalization of Tax Administration, Excise Tax Execution and Administration, Property Tax and Administration, and other relevant areas the two countries identify important.
