Addis Ababa, February 18, 2023 (Walta) – Ethiopia sent humanitarian aid and rescue team to earthquake devastated Turkiye yesterday.
A report by ENA indicated that Turikye Ambassador to Ethiopia, Yaprak Alp, and higher officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia see the team off yesterday evening.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on a phone call to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan yesterday expressed his condolences to the victims of February 6 earthquake.
The deadly quake killed a total of over 44,000 peoples in Turkiye and Syria.
