Addis Ababa, April 30, 2024(Addis Walta) Ethiopia has initiated a nationwide campaign called “Clean Streets – Healthy Life” aimed at promoting a cleaner environment and healthier lifestyle for its citizens.

A digital telethon participation movement program has been launched nationwide, with numerous Ethiopians taking part.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) announced a movement to encourage people to stop defecating on the roadside and instead use clean and appropriate places.

Diseases caused by lack of sanitation and toilets include diarrhea, cholera, typhoid, amoeba, intestinal worms, hepatitis A, and polio.

The issue of cleanliness and hygiene seems to be a topic that needs to be addressed more frequently. Maintaining clean and hygienic surroundings is essential for our well-being and helps to prevent the spread of diseases.
