Addis Ababa, June 25, 2021 (Walta) – Ethiopian Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the United Nations, Taye Atskeselassie held a discussion with the Director of the United Nations Office (OCHA) for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Reena Ghelani, and the Deputy Director of the Organization Ghada Eltahir on various issues.
During the discussion, Ambassador Taye Atskeselassie emphasized the need for an evidence-based approach in OCHA’s reporting on the humanitarian situation in Tigray.
He further stressed the need to enhance collaboration between OCHA and the government of Ethiopia to ensure aid reaches those who are in need in the Tigray region
