Addis Ababa, May 31, 2023 (Walta) – High-level official visit to China led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen is the epitome of fast growing Ethiopia-China ties, especially in the areas of investment, trade, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and technology transfer, Ministr of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia announced.
The Spokesperson of the Ministr of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Meles Alem, in his bi-weekly press briefing addressed the local and Addis Ababa-based media on the diplomatic activities and engagements of Ethiopia.
The inauguration of a new Ethiopian Embassy complex in itself is indicative of this trajectory, he said.
After briefly highlighting the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the African Union (AU), Ambassador Meles responded to miscellaneous questions raised by reporters.
In his presser, he principally highlighted the recent high-level official visit to China led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen.
