Addis Ababa, November 15, 2021(Walta) – State Minister of Finance, Eyob Tekalign (Phd) said Ethiopia’s peace and stability are crucial for the overall stability of the region.
In an interview with Indian media on current affairs, he said “I assure to the terrorist group that Ethiopia is going to win.”
He recalled that the current conflict in Ethiopia was sparked by the TPLF’s terrorist group attack on the North Command aiming to reverse the change in the country.
He said the government has confirmed that the terrorist group is receiving satellite image and other support from outside forces. He also stressed that the current proxy war against Ethiopia will not succeed.
The Minister also touched upon situations regarding humanitarian operations in affected areas, the joint investigation report of UNHRHC and Ethiopian human rights commission over allegedly committed crimes, and the recent media hype that concocts a narrative on the siege of Addis Ababa by forces of the terrorist clique.
