Finnish government to keep on reinforcing projects in Amhara region

Head of Development Cooperation at the Embassy of Finland in Ethiopia, Arto Valjas, discussed with Chief of the Amhara Regional State, Agenehu Teshager on ways to bolster the cooperation.

The Finnish government is implementing various projects in the Amhara region viz. agriculture, rural potable water, health, land administration, and education.

According to Arto Valjas, the projects being implemented in Amhara State will improve the lives of the people and augment their benefits. He further expressed his government’s interest to implement projects that are in line with the region’s 10-year strategic plan.

Chief of the Amhara Regional State, Agenehu Teshager, on his part said the projects being implemented by the Finnish government in the Amhara region are successful. He said the Finnish government is cooperating in the social and economic fields, according to AMMA.
