Addis Ababa, February 13, 2024 (Addis Walta) Ethiopian newly appointed Foreign Minister, Ambassador Taye Atske Selassie, conferred with the African Union Commission Chairperson, Moussa Faki Mahamat, today.
In their discussion Ambassador Taye Atske Selassie, noted the long standing relationship between Ethiopia and the African Union. He also underscored the renewed Ethiopia’s commitment to supporting the AU both as a member and host country, according to MFA of Ethiopia.
Moussa Faki Mahamat on his part congratulated Ambassador Taye on his newest post and reiterated the importance of Ethiopia’s role in achieving security and stability in Africa.
