Addis Ababa, March 27, 2024(Addis Walta) Foreign Minister Taye Atske Selassie received members of the AU High-Level Panel on the Sudan led by Muhammed Ibn Chambas; Ambassador Francisco Madeira and Former Vice President of Uganda Dr. Specioza Kazibwe.
The panel briefed the shuttle diplomacy and consultations it conducted recently with regional leaders.
The discussants emphasized the critical importance of a Sudanese-owned and AU-led peace process.
