Government Says Foreign Intervention Declining Slightly

Addis Ababa, December o2, 2021(Walta) – Ethiopian government announced that intervention and false reports in the Media of Some Western Countries are declining slightly.

State Minister of Government Communication Service, Kebede Desisa told reporters that in the past few months, the existence of the survival campaign has been misguided and under intense diplomatic pressure.

But now he noted that there has been a decline in the number of Western media interventions and false reports.

He said the green light, which was presented by China at the China-Africa Cooperation Conference held in Dakar, Senegal this week, will also enable Africans to export their agricultural products to China.

Ethiopian delegation, which participated in the forum, briefed African friends on the ongoing survival campaign in the country, said the State Minister.

He also said when some embassies intimidated their citizens to leave Addis Ababa; the visit of the Chinese Foreign Minister to Ethiopia was a great achievement and, had built a positive image.

He recalled that the #Nomore international movement had intensified during the week with the participation of many Ethiopians, Eritreans, and people of Ethiopian descent.

He also mentioned that foreign media and some Western countries have falsely accused the Ethiopian government of human rights abuses and using famine as a weapon but, the UN Commission on Human Rights had investigated the case and denied the allegations.

“Ethiopia needs to show the world that it is a peaceful and prosperous country,” he added.

The government has also called on Ethiopians to participate in the upcoming #GreatEthiopianHomeComing Challenge at the request of the Prime Minister’s Office.
