Addis Ababa, November 16, 2022 (Walta) – International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) test-flight landed in Tigray region Shire town, to deliver humanitarian assistance.
According to ICRC delegation in Ethiopia, the resuming of airlifts to Tigray will help carry urgent humanitarian aid to the region more quickly.
It is the first humanitarian flight in 2 years since the conflict erupted.
The test-flight will also help to alleviate the needs of thousands immediate support.
