Addis Ababa, November 14, 2022 (Walta) –The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) reiterated its position for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
IGAD Executive Secretary, Dr Workneh Gebeyehu Briefed Ambassador of Russia to Djibouti Mikhail Golovanov on the positively evolving political & security situation in the region.
IGAD Executive Secretary, on his Facebook page noted, IGAD reiterated its position for a peaceful resolution of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
“Privileged to receive invitation sent by President Vladimir Putin to participate in Russia-Africa Summit 2023,” he added.
