Addis Ababa, October 14/2022 (Walta) –The Customs department at Mumbai airport arrested an Indian national with 16 kg of gold, said officials.
The man arrived on a flight from Addis Ababa in Ethiopia.
Smugglers have adopted novel ways to conceal the contraband gold, but specific intelligence received by the Customs Department has helped to nab them.
