International Medias Report on Ethiopian Government Formation

Addis Ababa, October 4, 2021 (Walta) – The House of People’s Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has re-elected Abiy Ahmed Ali (PhD.) as the Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

Following this inauguration, international media outlets have widely reported Ethiopia’s Abiy Ahmed sworn in as PM for five-year term.

Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has just been sworn in, BBC report says, the ceremony in parliament comes after his party won a landslide victory in June’s elections.

As Anadolu reported, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali has been sworn in for a new five-year term.

According to the report, the 45-year-old Nobel laureate took the oath of office during the joint session of the House of People’s Representatives and House of the Federation held on Monday.

Abiy’s Prosperity Party scored a landslide win in the June 21 parliamentary and regional councils’ elections.

Abiy Ahmed’ sworn is also widely reported by Africa news agency.

Generally these media widely reports, the formation of the Ethiopian government and the re-election of Dr. Abiy Ahmed as Prime Minister for the next five years.
