Addis Ababa, January 22, 2023 (Walta) DPM and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen expresses his good wish to the Chinese people for their 2023 Lunar New Year.
He said the new year will be of further strengthening of Ethio-China relation.
He said ” I am confident that we will use the New Year to kick the long-standing ties between Ethiopia and China up a notch. May the New Year symbolizes strength, tenacity and boldness for both China and Ethiopia.”
Chinese people are celebrating the 2023 Lunar New Year. They assinged 12 animals for each year. Last year was the year of Tiger and 2023 is year of Rabbit.
