Military Attachés of Different Countries in Ethiopia Receive Briefing on Current Issues

Addis Ababa, November 15, 2022 (Walta) – Military attachés of various countries reside in Addis Ababa received briefing regarding the peace agreement reached between the Ethiopian government and the TPLF.

The explanation is given by the Directorate of Foreign Relations and Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense.

The Director General of Foreign Relations and Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Teshome Gemechu, briefing the attachés said that the agreement is key to restore the peace and stability of Ethiopia.

He also stated that the Ethiopian government is still committed to peace and will work to implement the agreement.

In his explanation, he mentioned that the effort to deliver humanitarian aid in the prescribed way has been strengthened.

The army is currently carrying out various social responsibilities in the Tigray region, he added.

It was also stated that the cooperation of all countries is needed for the peace agreement to be implemented.
