Addis Ababa, May 30, 2022 (Walta) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed along with the Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie, and other high officials has inaugurated the dialysis center built at Menelik II Referral Hospital in Addis Ababa.
It is said that the city administration, which is working to make Addis Ababa a health tourism center, is focusing on building modern and competent health facilities to provide affordable and equitable health services.
Prime Minister Abiy said that Addis Ababa City’s demonstration of a new dialysis facility through drawing private sector investments is key in addressing the many breakages in our health care system.
The premier also encourages the efforts being undertaken to enhance medical care within the nation.
“Appreciating Ethiopians living abroad that have mobilized professionally in service of their country, I encourage many others to multiply such endeavors”, he added.
