Addis Ababa, December 9, 2021 (Walta) – Prime minister Abiy Ahmed has held productive phone discussions with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and African Union Commission Chairperson Moussa Faki Mahamat.
The Premier noted on his twitter page that as a founding member of both the UN and the African Union, Ethiopia has been a proponent of multilateralism rooted in respect for national sovereignty.
PM Abiy had held extensive phone discussions yesterday with leaders of Djibouti, Kenya, Uganda, Somalia, Eritrea and South Sudan on issues of strengthening working together on bilateral and regional issues.
