Addis Ababa, February 3, 2022 (Walta) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended a welcoming message to participants of the 35th Ordinary Session of the AU Assembly.
“After a two year interruption due to COVID-19, Ethiopia welcomes the resumption of the AU Summit in its capital city Addis Ababa which has been gearing up to warmly receive our fellow brothers and sisters”, the premier noted on his twitter page.
The 40th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council (Ministerial Session) of the AU was kicked off yesterday and the 35th Ordinary Session of the AU Assembly for Head of States and Government will be opened on 5th February 2022.
