Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended his thanks to all who staged rallies in the Oromia regional state in support of him and his government.
“I truly thank all the people of Oromia for their support,” he said on his social media page.
“Thank you so much for the voice of solidarity throughout Oromia,” the Prime Minister wrote on Facebook.
“The government’s special mission is to serve the people; Public servants at all levels should learn from such support and realize that it is a call from the people and trust to fulfill our responsibilities,” he said.
“I truly thank the people of the entire Oromia region for the great movement that has taken place today” he added.
