Addis Ababa, October 08, 2021 (Walta) – President of Russia Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed (PhD.) on his reelection.
President Putin on his telegram message sent to Ethiopia noted that Ethiopia – Russia relations are based on good traditions of friendship and mutual respect.
“I trust that your activity as the head of government will further facilitate the development of our bilateral cooperation in various spheres for the benefit of our people, in the interest of strengthen security and stability on the African continent”, he underscored.
The two countries’ diplomatic relations were instituted on April, 1943.
