Addis Ababa, June 15, 2021 (Walta) – President Sahelework Zewdie chaired the International Education Commission (IEC) discussion about future education system.
The Chairperson of the IEC announced that the commission, set up to advise and plan for the future, is said to have less than two months to complete its report.
According to the Office of the President, a key meeting was held where the members of the Commission discussed details of the report.
The commission is comprised of world-renowned experts, is preparing a report which is intended to spark and inspire a process of public debate, policy dialogue and collective action on the future of education.
The report is expected to be submitted to the UNESCO General Assembly in November 2021.
