Addis Ababa, December 8, 2021 (Walta) – The President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Sahlework Zewde, said while celebrating 16th Nation, Nationalities and, people’s day, we should pay tribute to the people who are sacrificing their life for the country.
Speaking at the celebration in Dire Dawa, the President said peace is the basis of everything and efforts to achieve it will be a priority.
Ethiopians are jointly excelling over internal and external pressures on the country, she added.
The President also said the response given to the terrorist attack on the country is a solution to ensure lasting peace.
