Addis Ababa, June 23, 2022 (Walta) – The Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Jaishankara Subrahmanyam paid a courtesy call to President Sahlework Zewde on Wednesday.
During the discussion, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the excellent relations and affirmed their readiness to further strengthen the deep-rooted ties between Ethiopia and India.
The President commended India for its principled and constructive position at the UN Security Council, particularly on issues related to Ethiopia. India is a member of the council until the end of 2022.
