Addis Ababa, April 9, 2024(Addis Walta) Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has greeted all Muslims on the Eid al-Fitr holiday. Ramadan is a month of mercy and blessings for the Muslim community, during which they get closer to God through fasting and Ibadah, as highlighted by the Prime Minister.
In his Eid al-Fitr message, the Prime Minister mentioned that this year’s Ramadan was a month in which they helped the poor, supported each other, and demonstrated unity despite their diverse religious backgrounds. These positive actions are a reminder that together, we can overcome challenges.
The Prime Minister emphasized that we must maintain the values we achieved in March and carry them forward to ensure prosperity. Our values are peace, forgiveness, and love, while synergy and forgiveness are fundamental principles.
Synergy and forgiveness are essential principles that will help us overcome challenges during the reform and the path to our next destination, Ethiopia’s holistic prosperity.
