Addis Ababa, April 10, 2023 (Walta) – Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon stated that Slovenia is prepared to open an Embassy in Addis Ababa, the political and diplomatic capital of Africa.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, received at his office today Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, who is on an official visit to Ethiopia.
DPM Demeke briefed his Slovenian counterpart about the ongoing implementation of the Pretoria Peace Agreement.
The two Deputy Prime Ministers have agreed to diversify and take the relations to a new height, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
An agreement has been reached to work together in the economy, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, water, and tourism sectors.
DPM Fojon, who commended the implementation of the Peace Agreement, expressed the commitment of her government to support all implementation efforts.
