Addis Ababa, June 22, 2022(Walta) – Sidama State Chief elucidated that the current internal and external challenges will not deter the journey Ethiopia has been trekking towards sustainable peace, prosperity, and development.
Speaking at the panel discussion organized by the Ethiopian Press Agency (EPA) in Hawassa under the theme “Ethiopia continues being victorious,” Sidama State Chief Desta Ledamo said that some people have doubted Ethiopia’s journey to sustainable prosperity without understanding the current situation in the country.
As to him, some enemies of the country assume that Ethiopians are not united and they will easily fall apart if pushed forward. “Ethiopia has endured many centuries of adversity and has won numerous internal and external conspiracies, which are reflections of its Nations, Nationalities, and people’s strong unity against all odds. Despite facing many challenges, the country awaits a rosy future,” he said.
“Ethiopia’s location is of great strategic importance and has been challenged by forces that do not want its renaissance. However, Ethiopia has been able to stand in the face of all these ups and downs. If one wants to well comprehend Ethiopia, they must observe it in deep,” he said.
