TPLF Massacres 424 Agnuak Tribe Members in 2013 – U.S. Official

Addis Ababa, December 13, 2021(Walta) – The terrorist TPLF massacred some 424 Agnuak tribe members in December 2013 in Gambella State, according to a U.S. official.

In his interview with international media,  a member of the Austin City Council Oballa Oballa said that Agnuak tribe members, one of the five ethnic groups in Gambella State were massacred in December 2013 by the TPLF- led regime.

After the genocidal massacre, Oballa Oballa and other Agnuak members had to flee to the neighboring country South Sudan to save their lives. “I moved to the U.S from Ethiopia in 2013 after December 13 genocide took place in Gambella. More than 424 Agnuak tribe members are being massacred and the whole Gambella town was burned down,” Oballa elaborated.

ENA learnt that The council member further emphasized that for ten years, he lived in the refugee camp. “Life in the camp was not good, but it is better from dying for something you don’t know”.
