Visits of Italian PM, Slovenian DPM to Ethiopia Demonstrate Ethiopia’s Encouraging Path to Expedite Reengagement

Addis Ababa, April 12, 2023 (Walta) – The visits of the Italian Prime Minister, and Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister, and foreign minister to Ethiopia demonstrate Ethiopia’s encouraging path to expedite reengagement and normalize its relations with its partners, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia announced.

Ambassador Meles Alem, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, gave a biweekly briefing to the media today.

He said the high-profile European officials’ visit to Ethiopia is also recognition of the country’s efforts to ensure lasting peace in the country.

He spoke about the arrival of a delegation of the Global Black History, Heritage and Education Center from London in Addis Ababa.

The delegation will meet high-profile government officials in their efforts to establish a Headquarters in Ethiopia that cherishes Pan-African values, according to MFA.

The briefing also included information on the various forums and expos to be held in Ethiopia and other countries that aimed to promote business opportunities in Ethiopia and convince investors to make Ethiopia their ideal destination.
