Stakeholders urged to strengthen participation

Bahir Dar, December 6, 2012 (WIC) – The Amhara State said stakeholders of trade transaction could play key role in strengthening and maintaining the country’s rapid economic growth. 

Speaking at the opening of a trade fair and bazaar organized in connection with the 7th Nations’, Nationalities’ and Peoples’ Day in Bahirdar, the Vice Chief Administrator and industry and urban development head Ahmed  Abtew said strengthening ties among producers, small and microfinance enterprises, the business community and the public is significant in  ensuring sustainability of the existing rapid economic growth.

According to Ahmed the government has been working hard  to improve the marketing system in the country that will help in raising the number of investors and expanding investment; thereby, ensuring the benefits of the public.

The trade fair and bazaar helps to create relations among producers, suppliers and consumers, Ahmed said.
