Ambassador Fitsum Arega meets Human Rights Watch Deputy Director for Africa, Ida Sawyer, today.
The Deputy Director congratulated Ambassador Fitsum as PM Dr. Abiy Ahmed Won 2019 Nebel Peace Prize.
Ambassador Fitsum briefed the deputy director the achievements and the ongoing reforms on human rights issues and Ethiopia's readiness to work with the HRW.
According to the deputy director, a team from HRW will be visiting Ethiopia in the coming weeks.
