Meles Foundation provides computer science training for selected students

Addis Ababa, 03 August, 2016(WIC)- The Meles Foundation is providing computer science training for 83 students drawn from different parts of the country.

The Training is being provided for students who excelled in mathematics during their high school education since the beginning of this month.

The training is provided by volunteers who came here the Stanford University to contribute their share to the effort developing computer science in the country.

Timnit Gebru, one of the volunteers, says it is a very important training for the students as it enables them to update themselves with the contemporary stage of the science of computing.

The training shall continue next year by engaging more volunteers and it is better for the students to start adapting with the computer before joining the training program, she remarked.
